These apply to every session booked through this site. They're short on purpose.
A session is confirmed when it's paid for. Payment is taken in full at booking through Stripe. Prices include VAT where applicable. If I ever have to confirm a booking manually, you'll get a payment link and the slot is held for 48 hours.
Studio sessions take place in studios I hire. Very occasionally a studio falls through; if that happens I'll offer you another studio or another date first, and a full refund if neither works.
You can move your session once, free, with at least 48 hours' notice, using the link in your confirmation email. With less than 48 hours' notice, moving it costs £50 to cover the studio time I've already paid for. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
Cancel with 7 or more days' notice for a full refund. Between 7 days and 48 hours, 50% is refunded. Under 48 hours, or if you don't turn up, there's no refund — the studio has been booked and paid for. If I cancel, you get a full refund or a new date, your choice.
Sessions start at the booked time. If you're late, the session still ends when it was due to — the studio is booked by the hour. More than 30 minutes late counts as a no-show.
Retouched images are delivered by private online gallery, typically within 3–5 working days (or the next working day with the 24-hour add-on). Budget Headshot images are lightly edited, not retouched. Extra images or retouching after delivery are £20 per image. Galleries stay online for 90 days — download what you want.
You get a licence to use your photos for your own professional and commercial purposes — LinkedIn, CVs, websites, casting profiles, press, your business's marketing — without limit or expiry. You can't resell them or claim them as your own photography. I keep the copyright, and I'll only use your photos publicly with your permission.
Event sessions are non-refundable and one day only. No-shows forfeit the slot and payment. More than 10 minutes late may not be accommodated. Add-on shots are only if time allows and aren't guaranteed.
I can end a session without refund if anyone's behaviour makes it unsafe or unpleasant. On-location sessions happen somewhere you have the right to be; you're responsible for that access.
